 Performing together for over 15 years, the Elan Ensemble's unique, sophisticated presentation recreates the aura of a gentler, more elegant era. Its members have performed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia with numerous orchestras and festivals and on Broadway in shows like “Miss Saigon,” “The Lion King,” and “Damn Yankees”. The group was also the featured ensemble at New York City’s legendary Plaza Hotel Palm Court Room and has performed at such fashionable settings as the Rainbow Room, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Morgan Library, and MOMA. The Ensemble's unique concerts of works and distinctive arrangements of everything from Strauss waltzes to Italian opera to Andrea Boccelli and George Gershwin, recently brought them aboard the Cunard Line for their Music Festival at Sea, where they had the opportunity to perform in Vivaldi's parish church in Venice, Italy, and in an ancient amphitheater on the Greek island of Rhodes.
The Ensemble’s impressive list of clients includes celebrities David Letterman, Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, Dustin Hoffman, Mary Tyler Moore, Glen Close and Melanie Griffith as well as corporate clients such as Merrill Lynch, Citicorp, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte & Touche, Polo/Ralph Lauren, Disney and Random House.
